Today begins a new format and a slightly altered purpose for Palestine InSight. As always, my purpose is to provide a sort of “digest” of important Palestinian news stories of the day. However, instead of copying sections of those stories, I will link them.

Most of the space will be given to “opinion” pieces or “commentary” that I find interesting and useful. Note “I find.” I am fully aware that my intention is not to provide a broad range of ideas. I will post interesting items from the online sources I follow regularly (many by subscription).  My purpose is to present ideas about and interpretations of the news that most Americans would not otherwise find. So, no, this is not an “objective” discussion. It is information about the plight of the Palestinian people as they struggle to maintain their heritage, their history, their homes — their lives.
